This home offers stunning views of both San Francisco and Mount Tamalpais while nestled in its own private canyon. Our design approach updates the house while preserving its original mid-century modern elements, with the addition of a new penthouse to enhance both living space and views.In collaboration with the landscape team, we are creating a mid-century style landscape that gracefully transitions into a natural meadow below, blending seamlessly with the house’s design above. Sustainability is a key focus of this project, as we are incorporating photovoltaic solar panels, battery storage, and upgrading the building envelope, appliances, and HVAC systems to eliminate the use of natural gas—making the home 100% electric.Currently under construction, this project is a modern update to a mid-century gem.
